Space Brains:
Procedural Level Generator

My team has continued development of Space Brains, our rogue-lite Sci-Fi shooter game. The first main component of the game I have developed is a procedural level generator that generates 3D levels with complex room structures, which are easy to navigate when used alongside the new minimap I have made.

 

Game Engine: 

Unreal Engine 5

Features:​

3D Level Generator, Customised A* Pathfinding, Minimap (with Fog of War). 

Space Brains (6 Week Challenge)

This was my team's submission for CG Spectrum's first collaborative challenge for game designers, 3D modellers and programmers. We had six weeks to create an interactive level within a 20m³ space and with only 10 models.

 

Our submission was the winner of the modelling category.

Project Features:​

Explosive barrels, functional gun (shooting, reloading, firing accuracy), telekinesis object manipulation.
